When a tooth develops decay due to bacteria, the affected tooth structure must be removed. We replace the lost tooth structure with a white filling material that is hard like the tooth and can be shaped to fit with your natural bite.

Crowns, sometimes referred to as caps, are used when a large amount of tooth structure has been lost. In order to prevent the tooth from breaking and requiring extraction, we place a crown over the tooth to provide protection from further deterioration.
